Someday I will understand technology
It's been a little frustrating the last two days with my knowledge of how to get things done in terms of technology. While in the end it worked out, I was trying to get myself registered for my class here in San Diego State University, I got stuck at an impasse in the university website. I finally called to ask for help. It truly was something easy that I thought I had tried but I must have missed something in the process. Then today, I could not remember that new university student email. I finally got in but it took forever.
So my class on Death, Dying, and the Afterlife will begin next week. It's a hybrid class - in person and online. Monday and Wednesday are in-class days, and the schedule for online still reads "to be determined." The in-person class time is about 50 minutes per class. The next part of my agenda with the university is finding out about parking permits and then what books I will need to buy. I have lots of notebooks and journals to use.
It's just a lot to figure out still. Today, however, as soon as I finish this entry, I am hitting the beach. I don't know why I have been hesitant. It's one of the reasons I came here, wasn't it?
Asking for help, something most men struggle with. Glad to hear you are taking advantage of being near a beach. I can’t imagine going back to school again, I hope it’s insightful.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you made it there safely and are settling in. I look forward to hearing more about your class in the coming days.
ReplyDeleteThe topic sounds very interesting to study. I like to hear more about the course as you continue throughout the semester. Good thing you are at a warm beach. It is frigid cold here. Learn a lot.
